The building complex was constructed over the decades, and all buildings and sections are indoor accessible to each other.
The property is zoned industrial, with building service available at 4000A/480V/3Ph. One side of the complex consists of a 3 story mill building, a 2 story mill building, and a 1 story office type building, all with brick, posts and beams, and 15’ ceilings.
Most of the space is flooded with natural light.
The other side of the complex is a more modern structure of cinder block with cement floors, divided into several large work areas and very high ceilings.
There are 7 loading docks and 1 drive in. The two sides of the complex are attached via a large wooden connector building, which also houses a fully functional machine shop, and a carpentry area.
The heat is provided by an oil fired steam boiler, and there is also a back up boiler. An above ground 6000 gallon oil tank was installed in the 1990’s, and it’s enclosed within a cinder block structure.
There are no in ground tanks of any kind on the property. There are no hazardous substances in the building. There is also a section of the building that has an underground ‘pool’ that was used as the source water for cooling high powered industrial equipment. It remains in perfect condition.
The building complex is unique, and the mill buildings are beautiful. It would be ideal for industrial use, office space, R&D labs, artist lofts, or warehouse/storage space.
